About Autolinks Manager 1.11

Autolinks Manager is a CodeCanyon plugin for WordPress that adds links to your content automatically. You define a keyword and a target URL, and the plugin links matching words wherever they appear, so you don't edit each post by hand. It is used for affiliate links, links to your own product pages and internal links between articles.

Rules let you control how many times a keyword is linked and how the link behaves, which keeps pages from filling up with repeated links. The file on record is version 1.11 and dates from September 2018. Test it with your current WordPress and PHP versions on a staging site before using it on live content.

Key features

Keyword-based autolinks
Turns each keyword you define into a link to the URL you choose.
Applies across existing content
Links are added when posts are displayed, so older articles get them without editing.
Limits per post
Caps how many times a keyword is linked so pages don't fill up with repeated links.
Link attributes
Set options such as opening in a new tab or adding nofollow for affiliate links.
Affiliate and internal use
Works for outbound affiliate links and for links between your own pages.

Is it right for you?

A good fit for

  • Affiliate sites that link the same product names across many posts
  • Content sites that want consistent internal links without manual editing

Look elsewhere if

  • Sites that want link suggestions and an internal linking analysis rather than automatic links

How to install Autolinks Manager 1.11

  1. 1

    Download the file

Open My Account → Downloads and download the product. If the archive contains several zips (documentation, child theme, licensing files), you need the one named after the product.

  2. 2

    Upload it to WordPress

In your dashboard go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin and choose the zip.

  3. 3

    Install and activate

Click Install Now, then Activate. If an older or free copy is already installed, WordPress offers to replace it with the uploaded version.

Setup: using Autolinks Manager 1.11

  1. Activate the plugin. Install and activate Autolinks Manager, then open its menu in the dashboard.
  2. Add your first autolink. Enter a keyword and its target URL, and set whether it opens in a new tab or uses nofollow.
  3. Set limits. Choose how many times the keyword may be linked in one post.
  4. Check a post. Open a post that contains the keyword and confirm the link appears where you expect.

Common problems and fixes

New links don't show on the front end
Why it happens
A caching plugin or server cache is serving the older page.
How to fix it
Clear your page cache and CDN cache, then reload the post.
“The link you followed has expired.” when uploading
Why it happens
The zip is larger than your server's PHP upload limit (upload_max_filesize / post_max_size).
How to fix it
Raise the upload limit in your hosting control panel, or unzip the file and upload the folder to wp-content/plugins with your host's file manager or SFTP.
“The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.”
Why it happens
The uploaded zip is a bundle (or a theme), not the plugin itself.
How to fix it
Unzip the download once and upload the inner zip named after the plugin.
“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”
Why it happens
Usually a PHP version older than the plugin needs, or a second copy of the same plugin (for example the free version) still active.
How to fix it
Check your PHP version under Tools → Site Health → Info, deactivate any other copy of the plugin, and enable WP_DEBUG_LOG to see the exact error.
Licence or “updates unavailable” notices
Why it happens
The developer's licence key isn't included. Features that call the developer's servers (template libraries, cloud APIs, automatic updates) need it.
How to fix it
Everything that runs locally works without it. For a newer file, use Request an update from your account.

Frequently asked questions

Does it change my posts in the database?

Autolinks are applied when content is displayed, so turning a rule off removes its links without editing posts.

Can I use it for affiliate links?

Yes. Point a keyword at your affiliate URL and add nofollow for those links.

Will it link the same word many times on one page?

You set a limit per keyword, so you control how often it is linked in each post.

Is it compatible with current WordPress?

The file dates from September 2018. Test it on a staging copy with your current WordPress and PHP versions first.
