About Interlinks Manager 1.27

Interlinks Manager is a plugin for SEO specialists and bloggers who want to manage internal linking deliberately. Internal links pass authority between your own pages and help visitors and search engines find content, but on a site with hundreds of posts they're easy to neglect. This plugin gives you data and tools to manage them.

It covers five jobs. It analyses your internal links, including how many each post has and whether they look optimised. It estimates how link juice flows between URLs. It suggests related articles to link to while you edit. It can turn chosen keywords into links automatically. And it tracks clicks on your internal links, so you can see how many visits they actually send.

Data can be exported to CSV. Treat automatic links with care: a few well-chosen keywords help, but links added in bulk to every mention of a phrase can look forced to readers, so test on a handful of posts first.

Key features

Automatic internal links
Convert chosen keywords or phrases into links automatically, which also suits wiki-style knowledge bases and links to pages where you sell.
Internal links analysis
See how many internal links each post has, how many visits those links generate and how optimised they are.
Link juice statistics
Estimate how link authority flows through your URLs, with a list of the links contributing to each page.
Internal link suggestions
While editing a post, see related articles that are worth linking to.
Click tracking
Track visitor clicks on internal links to find out how many visits each link sends.
CSV export
Export the link data, link juice and tracked links to a CSV file.

Is it right for you?

A good fit for

  • SEO specialists auditing internal links on content-heavy sites
  • Bloggers who publish a lot and lose track of what links where
  • Sites that want keyword-based automatic links, such as glossary or knowledge-base style pages

Look elsewhere if

  • Small sites with a few pages, where a manual link check is quicker than a plugin
  • Anyone expecting automatic linking to replace careful editorial linking

How to install Interlinks Manager 1.27

  1. 1

    Download the file

Open My Account → Downloads and download the product. If the archive contains several zips (documentation, child theme, licensing files), you need the one named after the product.

  2. 2

    Upload it to WordPress

In your dashboard go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin and choose the zip.

  3. 3

    Install and activate

Click Install Now, then Activate. If an older or free copy is already installed, WordPress offers to replace it with the uploaded version.

Setup: using Interlinks Manager 1.27

  1. Open the plugin menu. After activating, open Interlinks Manager in your dashboard menu.
  2. Run the data update. Run the plugin's data update so it can scan your posts and build the link statistics.
  3. Review the analysis. Look at the internal links list to find posts with few or no links and pages that receive many.
  4. Try the suggestions in the editor. Edit a post and use the related-articles suggestions to add links worth having.
  5. Test automatic links on a few posts. Add a small number of keywords, choose where they apply and a limit per post, then read the result.
  6. Check the tracking. After a few days, review which links visitors click and which get ignored.

Common problems and fixes

The statistics are empty
Why it happens
The plugin has not scanned your content yet, or the data is out of date.
How to fix it
Run the plugin's data update from its maintenance area, then reload the statistics pages.
Automatic links appear in places you didn't expect
Why it happens
A keyword matches in more places than you meant, such as in short or unrelated posts.
How to fix it
Use more specific keywords, lower the maximum number of links per post, and test on one post before applying widely.
Click tracking isn't recording visits
Why it happens
A page cache, script optimiser or ad blocker is stopping the tracking script from running.
How to fix it
Exclude the plugin's script from optimisation, clear the cache and test in a window without extensions.
“The link you followed has expired.” when uploading
Why it happens
The zip is larger than your server's PHP upload limit (upload_max_filesize / post_max_size).
How to fix it
Raise the upload limit in your hosting control panel, or unzip the file and upload the folder to wp-content/plugins with your host's file manager or SFTP.
“The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.”
Why it happens
The uploaded zip is a bundle (or a theme), not the plugin itself.
How to fix it
Unzip the download once and upload the inner zip named after the plugin.
“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”
Why it happens
Usually a PHP version older than the plugin needs, or a second copy of the same plugin (for example the free version) still active.
How to fix it
Check your PHP version under Tools → Site Health → Info, deactivate any other copy of the plugin, and enable WP_DEBUG_LOG to see the exact error.
Licence or “updates unavailable” notices
Why it happens
The developer's licence key isn't included. Features that call the developer's servers (template libraries, cloud APIs, automatic updates) need it.
How to fix it
Everything that runs locally works without it. For a newer file, use Request an update from your account.

Frequently asked questions

What does it do that Yoast's linking suggestions don't?

Yoast Premium suggests links as you write. Interlinks Manager also analyses the whole site, estimates link flow between pages, adds links automatically from keywords and tracks clicks.

Will automatic links hurt my SEO?

They can if they're overdone. A few relevant, well-limited links help, but bulk links on every mention can look forced to visitors.

Can I export the data?

Yes. The internal links data, link juice and tracked links can be exported to CSV.

Does it work with any post type?

It works on your posts and pages. Check its settings to choose which content types it should scan.
