About GrabPlugin

GrabPlugin is an online store for GPL-licensed WordPress themes and plugins, along with Shopify and e-commerce themes, Elementor template kits, HTML and admin templates and a small number of PHP scripts. Each product is a downloadable file you can buy on its own, or reach through a membership.

We are an independent store. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or a reseller for the developers whose products we distribute, and product names are used only to identify the software.

Why GPL makes this possible

WordPress is licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL), and themes and plugins built on it carry the same licence for their code. The GPL lets anyone use, study, modify and redistribute that code. That is what allows a store like this to distribute copies of GPL software.

The GPL covers the code. It doesn't give you the developer's own services: their support desk, licence keys, automatic updates from their servers or cloud features that run on their accounts. Each product page tells you when a feature depends on one of those services.

How it works

• Buy a single product, or choose a monthly, six-month or lifetime membership for access to the whole library within a daily download limit.
• Payment is handled by Razorpay or PayPal. We never see or store your card details.
• Downloads are available straight after payment from the Downloads section of your account.
• If a product's file is out of date, owners can use the Request update button on its page and the request goes to our update queue.

How we write product pages

Many listings carried over from the old site had copied marketing text. We are rewriting them, starting with the products people search for most. Each rewritten page says what the product does, who it suits and who should look elsewhere, how to set it up, and the problems buyers commonly hit.

We only state a version number when it matches the file we hold, and when a file is several years old we say so, so you can test it on a staging site before using it on a live one.
