About Super Forms-WooCommerce Checkout Add-on 1.8.2

This is an add-on, not a stand-alone plugin. It extends the Super Forms drag and drop form builder so that a form can work with WooCommerce checkout. In practice that means a visitor fills in a form, and the entry can lead into your shop's cart and checkout instead of ending at a thank-you message.

The listing is thin on detail, so open the documentation in the package for the exact options. The file on record is version 1.8.1 and was released in April 2018. WooCommerce checkout has changed a lot since then, so test the full order flow on a staging site with your current WordPress, PHP and WooCommerce before using it on a live store.

Requirements

  • Super Forms (the main form builder plugin)
  • WooCommerce

Key features

Super Forms add-on
Adds WooCommerce checkout handling to forms built with the Super Forms builder.
Form to checkout link
Designed to connect a submitted form with the WooCommerce cart and checkout.
Works with your products
Uses the products already in your WooCommerce catalogue rather than a separate product list.
Configured per form
Settings sit inside the form builder, so each form can behave differently.

Is it right for you?

A good fit for

  • Stores that already use Super Forms and want forms to lead into WooCommerce checkout
  • Order, booking or quote-style forms that should end in a normal WooCommerce payment

Look elsewhere if

  • Sites without Super Forms, since this add-on does nothing on its own
  • Stores on a recent checkout setup that haven't tested this 2018 file against it

How to install Super Forms-WooCommerce Checkout Add-on 1.8.2

  1. 1

    Download the file

Open My Account → Downloads and download the product. If the archive contains several zips (documentation, child theme, licensing files), you need the one named after the product.

  2. 2

    Upload it to WordPress

In your dashboard go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin and choose the zip.

  3. 3

    Install and activate

Click Install Now, then Activate. If an older or free copy is already installed, WordPress offers to replace it with the uploaded version.

Notes for this product

  • Install and activate Super Forms first, then this add-on. The add-on has no settings of its own until the parent plugin is active.

Setup: using Super Forms-WooCommerce Checkout Add-on 1.8.2

  1. Install the parent plugin. Activate Super Forms and WooCommerce, and create at least one test product.
  2. Activate the add-on. Upload and activate the add-on, then open a form in the Super Forms builder.
  3. Find the WooCommerce settings. Look in the form's settings for the WooCommerce checkout options and follow the documentation in the package.
  4. Test a full order. Submit the form as a visitor and check the cart, checkout fields and the resulting order.

Common problems and fixes

The WooCommerce options don't appear in the form settings
Why it happens
The parent Super Forms plugin or WooCommerce is inactive, or the add-on was activated first.
How to fix it
Activate Super Forms and WooCommerce, then deactivate and reactivate the add-on.
The form submits but the checkout stays empty or shows the old layout
Why it happens
The add-on file is from 2018 and may expect the classic checkout rather than the newer block-based checkout.
How to fix it
Test with the classic checkout shortcode on the checkout page, or ask the author's documentation which setup it expects.
“The link you followed has expired.” when uploading
Why it happens
The zip is larger than your server's PHP upload limit (upload_max_filesize / post_max_size).
How to fix it
Raise the upload limit in your hosting control panel, or unzip the file and upload the folder to wp-content/plugins with your host's file manager or SFTP.
“The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.”
Why it happens
The uploaded zip is a bundle (or a theme), not the plugin itself.
How to fix it
Unzip the download once and upload the inner zip named after the plugin.
“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”
Why it happens
Usually a PHP version older than the plugin needs, or a second copy of the same plugin (for example the free version) still active.
How to fix it
Check your PHP version under Tools → Site Health → Info, deactivate any other copy of the plugin, and enable WP_DEBUG_LOG to see the exact error.
Licence or “updates unavailable” notices
Why it happens
The developer's licence key isn't included. Features that call the developer's servers (template libraries, cloud APIs, automatic updates) need it.
How to fix it
Everything that runs locally works without it. For a newer file, use Request an update from your account.

Frequently asked questions

Does this work without Super Forms?

No. It is an add-on for the Super Forms builder and needs that plugin active, along with WooCommerce.

Will it work with the current WooCommerce?

The listing doesn't say. The file on record dates from April 2018, so test the whole order flow on a staging site first.

Which form fields can reach checkout?

The listing doesn't state this. Check the documentation in the package.
