About WZone Addon – WooCommerce eBay Affiliates

WZone Addon - WooCommerce eBay Affiliates is a WordPress plugin sold on CodeCanyon. The name and the store categories (WooCommerce, Affiliate) point to one job: pulling eBay products into a WooCommerce shop so that visitors click through to eBay and you earn affiliate commission.

The listing gives no feature list, so open the documentation in the package before you plan a build. Check three things there: whether the parent WZone plugin must be installed first, which eBay account or API keys it needs, and which eBay country sites it covers. The file on record dates from February 2019, so test it on a staging site with your current WordPress, PHP and WooCommerce.

Requirements

WooCommerce
An eBay affiliate setup as described in the package documentation

Key features

eBay affiliate focus: Built around eBay products and affiliate links rather than a store that holds its own stock.
WooCommerce based: Filed under WooCommerce plugins, so imported items are meant to live inside your WooCommerce catalogue.
Addon for the WZone plugin family: Named as an addon, which suggests it extends a WZone plugin; the listing doesn't say which one is required.
Affiliate-site use: Filed under Affiliate, so it suits comparison, deal and niche review sites more than a normal shop.

Is it right for you?

A good fit for

Affiliate site owners who already run WooCommerce and want eBay listings in it
Anyone who already uses a WZone plugin and wants the eBay option beside it

Look elsewhere if

Shops selling their own stock, since the products point to eBay
Sites that don't use WooCommerce

How to install WZone Addon – WooCommerce eBay Affiliates

1
Download the file
Open My Account → Downloads and download the product. If the archive contains several zips (documentation, child theme, licensing files), you need the one named after the product.
2
Upload it to WordPress
In your dashboard go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin and choose the zip.
3
Install and activate
Click Install Now, then Activate. If an older or free copy is already installed, WordPress offers to replace it with the uploaded version.

Notes for this product

The name marks it as an addon. The listing doesn't state whether the parent WZone plugin is required, so check the documentation before activating.

Setup: using WZone Addon – WooCommerce eBay Affiliates

Read the documentation. Find out whether a parent plugin is needed and which eBay credentials the plugin asks for.
Install and activate. Activate the plugin on a staging site first, with WooCommerce already active.
Enter your eBay details. Add the affiliate and API details the plugin's settings page asks for. You normally need an eBay Partner Network account to earn commission.
Import a few test products. Bring in a small set of eBay items and check that they appear as WooCommerce products.
Check the outgoing links. Click through from a product page and confirm the link opens eBay and carries your affiliate tracking.

Common problems and fixes

Searches or imports return nothing

Why it happens: The file dates from 2019, and eBay has changed or retired API versions since then.
How to fix it: Check your credentials, test on staging, and read the documentation for the API it uses. If eBay no longer accepts those calls, the plugin cannot be fixed from your side.

“The link you followed has expired.” when uploading

Why it happens: The zip is larger than your server's PHP upload limit (upload_max_filesize / post_max_size).
How to fix it: Raise the upload limit in your hosting control panel, or unzip the file and upload the folder to wp-content/plugins with your host's file manager or SFTP.

“The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.”

Why it happens: The uploaded zip is a bundle (or a theme), not the plugin itself.
How to fix it: Unzip the download once and upload the inner zip named after the plugin.

“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”

Why it happens: Usually a PHP version older than the plugin needs, or a second copy of the same plugin (for example the free version) still active.
How to fix it: Check your PHP version under Tools → Site Health → Info, deactivate any other copy of the plugin, and enable WP_DEBUG_LOG to see the exact error.

Licence or “updates unavailable” notices

Why it happens: The developer's licence key isn't included. Features that call the developer's servers (template libraries, cloud APIs, automatic updates) need it.
How to fix it: Everything that runs locally works without it. For a newer file, use Request an update from your account.
