About WooCommerce Products Tab for Elementor WordPress Plugin

WooCommerce Products Tab for Elementor adds a widget to Elementor that shows WooCommerce products in tabs. Instead of one long product grid, visitors switch between tabs, for example featured, new and on sale, or between categories, and see each group in turn without leaving the page.

It is a design tool for home pages and landing pages built in Elementor. It was originally sold on CodeCanyon and is filed in the store under WordPress plugins and Envato plugins. The product listing gives very little detail, so open the widget's controls after installing to see what grouping, layout and styling options it offers.

It needs both WooCommerce and Elementor, and it works with the products you already have. The file is from February 2020, so test it on a staging page with your current Elementor and WooCommerce before putting it on a page that sells.

Requirements

  • WooCommerce
  • Elementor

Key features

Tabbed product display
Show products in tabs that visitors switch between, instead of a single long grid.
Elementor widget
Added from Elementor's widget panel and edited in the visual editor.
Uses your WooCommerce products
Pulls from your existing products, prices and stock.
Group products by tab
Set up tabs for groups such as categories or featured items, depending on the widget's options.
Styled in the editor
Adjust the look with Elementor's own controls.

Is it right for you?

A good fit for

  • Shop home pages that want to show several product groups compactly
  • Elementor users who build landing pages with product sections
  • Stores that want to feature new, popular and sale items together

Look elsewhere if

  • Sites that don't use Elementor or WooCommerce
  • Stores that need a large set of shop widgets, where a full Elementor add-on pack fits better

How to install WooCommerce Products Tab for Elementor WordPress Plugin

  1. 1

    Download the file

Open My Account → Downloads and download the product. If the archive contains several zips (documentation, child theme, licensing files), you need the one named after the product.

  2. 2

    Upload it to WordPress

In your dashboard go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin and choose the zip.

  3. 3

    Install and activate

Click Install Now, then Activate. If an older or free copy is already installed, WordPress offers to replace it with the uploaded version.

Notes for this product

Common problems and fixes

The widget doesn't appear in Elementor
Why it happens
WooCommerce or Elementor isn't active, or the editor needs reloading.
How to fix it
Check both plugins are active, then reload the Elementor editor and search the widget panel again.
The tabs don't switch on the live page
Why it happens
A caching or optimisation plugin is combining or deferring the widget's script.
How to fix it
Exclude the plugin's script from combining and minifying, then clear all caches.
“The link you followed has expired.” when uploading
Why it happens
The zip is larger than your server's PHP upload limit (upload_max_filesize / post_max_size).
How to fix it
Raise the upload limit in your hosting control panel, or unzip the file and upload the folder to wp-content/plugins with your host's file manager or SFTP.
“The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.”
Why it happens
The uploaded zip is a bundle (or a theme), not the plugin itself.
How to fix it
Unzip the download once and upload the inner zip named after the plugin.
“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”
Why it happens
Usually a PHP version older than the plugin needs, or a second copy of the same plugin (for example the free version) still active.
How to fix it
Check your PHP version under Tools → Site Health → Info, deactivate any other copy of the plugin, and enable WP_DEBUG_LOG to see the exact error.
Licence or “updates unavailable” notices
Why it happens
The developer's licence key isn't included. Features that call the developer's servers (template libraries, cloud APIs, automatic updates) need it.
How to fix it
Everything that runs locally works without it. For a newer file, use Request an update from your account.
