About Ireca – Car Rental Boat, Bike, Vehicle, Calendar WordPress Theme 1.4.0
Ireca is a WordPress theme for rental businesses. Its name covers cars, boats, bikes and other vehicles, and it mentions a calendar, so the idea is a site where visitors browse what you rent and book dates. In the store it is filed under booking, car, bike and multipurpose categories.
The listing doesn't describe how bookings work: whether payment is taken online, how pricing is set, or which plugin handles the calendar. Open the documentation in the package to find out, and treat anything not stated there as missing. The package is about 25 megabytes and the version on file is 1.4.0, released in September 2021, so test it on a staging site with your current WordPress and PHP versions.
Requirements
- A self-hosted WordPress site
Key features
- Vehicle rental focus
- Built for renting cars, boats, bikes and other vehicles.
- Calendar and booking
- Named for its calendar and filed under booking, so it is aimed at date-based reservations.
- Several vehicle types
- One theme is meant to cover car, boat and bike rental rather than a single vehicle type.
- Multipurpose and blog use
- Also filed under multipurpose and blog categories, so you can add articles and company pages.
- Standard WordPress theme
- Installs like any theme; demo and booking details are in the package documentation.
Is it right for you?
A good fit for
- Car, boat or bike rental companies that want customers to check dates online
- Agencies building a rental site who want a booking-oriented starting point
Look elsewhere if
- Sites that need a confirmed online payment flow, since the listing doesn't state one
How to install Ireca – Car Rental Boat, Bike, Vehicle, Calendar WordPress Theme 1.4.0
- 1
Download the file
Open My Account → Downloads and download the product. If the archive contains several zips (documentation, child theme, licensing files), you need the one named after the product.
- 2
Find the installable theme zip
Theme packages often bundle the theme, a child theme, plugins and docs. The installable theme is the zip that has style.css at its top level.
- 3
Upload it to WordPress
Go to Appearance → Themes → Add New Theme → Upload Theme, choose the theme zip, then Install Now and Activate.
- 4
Install the recommended plugins
Most premium themes show a notice listing their required plugins. Install those before importing any demo content.
Notes for this product
- Booking features often rely on a companion plugin. The listing doesn't name one, so check the package for it and install it before importing a demo.
Getting started: using Ireca – Car Rental Boat, Bike, Vehicle, Calendar WordPress Theme 1.4.0
- Install on a staging copy. The file dates from 2021, so check it with your current WordPress and PHP versions first.

- Make a test booking. Walk through a booking from search to confirmation on a phone and a desktop.
Common problems and fixes
The booking calendar doesn't appear on a vehicle page
- Why it happens
- The plugin that provides the calendar isn't installed or active, or the vehicle has no availability set.
- How to fix it
- Activate the plugins in the theme's required-plugins notice, then check the vehicle's availability settings.
“The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.”
- Why it happens
- The full download package was uploaded instead of the theme zip inside it.
- How to fix it
- Unzip the package and upload the zip that contains style.css at its top level.
“The link you followed has expired.” when uploading
- Why it happens
- The zip is larger than your server's PHP upload limit (upload_max_filesize / post_max_size).
- How to fix it
- Raise the upload limit in your hosting control panel, or unzip the file and upload the folder to wp-content/themes with your host's file manager or SFTP.
Demo import stops part-way or times out
- Why it happens
- The server hits its execution-time or memory limit during the import.
- How to fix it
- Raise max_execution_time and memory_limit with your host, then re-run the importer; importing content, widgets and settings separately also helps.
Pages look broken right after activating
- Why it happens
- The theme's required plugins (page builder, theme core plugin) aren't installed yet.
- How to fix it
- Install and activate everything in the theme's required-plugins notice, then reload.
