About CartFlows Thrive Architect Flows 1.0.0

CartFlows Thrive Architect Flows is an add-on for CartFlows, the plugin that builds sales funnels for WooCommerce. A flow in CartFlows is a funnel template made of steps such as a landing page, a checkout, an upsell and a thank-you page. This add-on supplies flows whose pages were designed with Thrive Architect, so you can edit them with that page builder.

It is a small add-on that depends on other plugins. You need WooCommerce, CartFlows, and Thrive Architect itself, since the templates open in Thrive Architect's editor. If you already use Thrive Architect and want your CartFlows funnels to look and edit the same way, it saves you from designing each step from scratch.

The file is from February 2020, and the product listing gives little else. Check that the versions of CartFlows and Thrive Architect you run are close to those it was made for, and test the flow all the way through checkout on a staging site.

Requirements

  • WooCommerce
  • CartFlows

How to install CartFlows Thrive Architect Flows 1.0.0

  1. 1

    Download the file

Open My Account → Downloads and download the product. If the archive contains several zips (documentation, child theme, licensing files), you need the one named after the product.

  2. 2

    Upload it to WordPress

In your dashboard go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin and choose the zip.

  3. 3

    Install and activate

Click Install Now, then Activate. If an older or free copy is already installed, WordPress offers to replace it with the uploaded version.

Notes for this product

  • Install and activate WooCommerce, CartFlows and Thrive Architect first. This add-on only supplies templates for them.

Setup: using CartFlows Thrive Architect Flows 1.0.0

  1. Install the plugins it depends on. Activate WooCommerce, CartFlows and Thrive Architect before adding this add-on.

Common problems and fixes

The Thrive Architect flows don't appear when adding a flow
Why it happens
The add-on, CartFlows or Thrive Architect isn't active, or the versions are too far apart.
How to fix it
Check that all four plugins are active, update them to versions close to each other, and reload the flow screen.
An imported page opens without the Thrive Architect design
Why it happens
Thrive Architect isn't active, or the page was opened in a different editor.
How to fix it
Activate Thrive Architect, and choose Edit with Thrive Architect on the step's page.
“The link you followed has expired.” when uploading
Why it happens
The zip is larger than your server's PHP upload limit (upload_max_filesize / post_max_size).
How to fix it
Raise the upload limit in your hosting control panel, or unzip the file and upload the folder to wp-content/plugins with your host's file manager or SFTP.
“The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.”
Why it happens
The uploaded zip is a bundle (or a theme), not the plugin itself.
How to fix it
Unzip the download once and upload the inner zip named after the plugin.
“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”
Why it happens
Usually a PHP version older than the plugin needs, or a second copy of the same plugin (for example the free version) still active.
How to fix it
Check your PHP version under Tools → Site Health → Info, deactivate any other copy of the plugin, and enable WP_DEBUG_LOG to see the exact error.
Licence or “updates unavailable” notices
Why it happens
The developer's licence key isn't included. Features that call the developer's servers (template libraries, cloud APIs, automatic updates) need it.
How to fix it
Everything that runs locally works without it. For a newer file, use Request an update from your account.
