About WOOCS – WooCommerce Currency Switcher – WooCommerce Multi Currency and WooCommerce Multi Pay 2.3.7.5
WOOCS, the WooCommerce Currency Switcher, adds a currency selector to your store and converts prices into the visitor's chosen currency. You list the currencies you accept, set or fetch exchange rates, and visitors switch with a widget or shortcode. The multi-pay option lets customers check out in the selected currency instead of your store's base currency.
The file on record is version 2.3.7.5, dated January 2022. Payment gateways and WooCommerce checkout have changed since then, so test the switcher with your theme, cache and gateways on a staging site, and run sandbox payments in each currency before going live.

- If you use page caching, read the plugin's notes on cache compatibility before launch, because cached pages can show prices in the wrong currency.

Common problems and fixes
Prices don't change, or show the wrong currency, after switching
- Why it happens
- A page cache is serving a copy built for another visitor.
- How to fix it
- Exclude shop pages from caching, or use the plugin's cache-friendly mode if your setup offers it.
Checkout falls back to the base currency, or the gateway rejects payment
- Why it happens
- Paying in the selected currency is turned off, or the gateway doesn't support that currency.
- How to fix it
- Check the multi-pay setting and your gateway's list of supported currencies.
Exchange rates stop updating
- Why it happens
- The rate source changed or now needs an API key, or WordPress cron isn't running.
- How to fix it
- Pick another rate source in the settings and make sure scheduled tasks run on your site.
“The link you followed has expired.” when uploading
- Why it happens
- The zip is larger than your server's PHP upload limit (upload_max_filesize / post_max_size).
- How to fix it
- Raise the upload limit in your hosting control panel, or unzip the file and upload the folder to wp-content/plugins with your host's file manager or SFTP.
“The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.”
- Why it happens
- The uploaded zip is a bundle (or a theme), not the plugin itself.
- How to fix it
- Unzip the download once and upload the inner zip named after the plugin.
“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”
- Why it happens
- Usually a PHP version older than the plugin needs, or a second copy of the same plugin (for example the free version) still active.
- How to fix it
- Check your PHP version under Tools → Site Health → Info, deactivate any other copy of the plugin, and enable WP_DEBUG_LOG to see the exact error.
Licence or “updates unavailable” notices
- Why it happens
- The developer's licence key isn't included. Features that call the developer's servers (template libraries, cloud APIs, automatic updates) need it.
- How to fix it
- Everything that runs locally works without it. For a newer file, use Request an update from your account.
