About WooCommerce Thank You Page – NextMove Power Pack

NextMove Power Pack is an add-on, not a standalone plugin. It extends NextMove, a WooCommerce plugin for customising the thank you page customers see after checkout. It was originally sold on CodeCanyon, and the file on record dates from March 2020.

The listing doesn't say what the Power Pack adds, so check the documentation in the package. You need the parent NextMove WooCommerce Thank You Page plugin installed and active first. Because the file is from 2020, test both plugins with your current WordPress, PHP and WooCommerce versions on a staging site before using them on a live shop.

Requirements

  • WooCommerce
  • NextMove WooCommerce Thank You Page plugin

Key features

Add-on for NextMove
Extends the NextMove thank you page plugin rather than replacing it.
Thank you page focus
Aimed at the page shown after a WooCommerce order is placed.
WooCommerce extension
Extra features not listed
The listing doesn't state what the power pack adds, so check the package documentation.

Is it right for you?

A good fit for

  • Stores already using NextMove that want its extra features
  • Shops that want a more useful order confirmation page

Look elsewhere if

  • Stores without the NextMove parent plugin
  • Buyers who want a standalone thank you page tool

How to install WooCommerce Thank You Page – NextMove Power Pack

  1. 1

    Download the file

Open My Account → Downloads and download the product. If the archive contains several zips (documentation, child theme, licensing files), you need the one named after the product.

  2. 2

    Upload it to WordPress

In your dashboard go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin and choose the zip.

  3. 3

    Install and activate

Click Install Now, then Activate. If an older or free copy is already installed, WordPress offers to replace it with the uploaded version.

Notes for this product

  • Install and activate the parent NextMove plugin first. The Power Pack does nothing on its own.

Setup: using WooCommerce Thank You Page – NextMove Power Pack

  1. Install the parent plugin. Activate WooCommerce and the NextMove WooCommerce Thank You Page plugin first.
  2. Install the Power Pack. Upload and activate the add-on on a staging site.
  3. Read the documentation. Find out which extra options it adds to NextMove.
  4. Place a test order. Complete a test order and check the thank you page on a phone and a desktop.

Common problems and fixes

“The link you followed has expired.” when uploading
Why it happens
The zip is larger than your server's PHP upload limit (upload_max_filesize / post_max_size).
How to fix it
Raise the upload limit in your hosting control panel, or unzip the file and upload the folder to wp-content/plugins with your host's file manager or SFTP.
“The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.”
Why it happens
The uploaded zip is a bundle (or a theme), not the plugin itself.
How to fix it
Unzip the download once and upload the inner zip named after the plugin.
“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”
Why it happens
Usually a PHP version older than the plugin needs, or a second copy of the same plugin (for example the free version) still active.
How to fix it
Check your PHP version under Tools → Site Health → Info, deactivate any other copy of the plugin, and enable WP_DEBUG_LOG to see the exact error.
Licence or “updates unavailable” notices
Why it happens
The developer's licence key isn't included. Features that call the developer's servers (template libraries, cloud APIs, automatic updates) need it.
How to fix it
Everything that runs locally works without it. For a newer file, use Request an update from your account.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use it without NextMove?

No. It is an add-on, so the parent NextMove plugin must be installed and active.

What does it add?

The listing doesn't say. Check the documentation in the package.

Will it work with current WooCommerce?

The file dates from March 2020, so test it on a staging copy first.
