About Parallax One Page Builder WordPress Plugin

Parallax One Page Builder is a WordPress plugin for making one-page sites and landing pages out of stacked blocks. According to the listing you can create unlimited pages and unlimited blocks, apply parallax effects, and include a portfolio and gallery. A demo XML file is included for sample content.

Install and activate the plugin. Upload and activate it on a staging copy, then find its menu in the WordPress admin.
Import the demo XML. If you want sample content, import the included demo file through Tools, Import.
Create a one-page layout. Add a new page in the builder and stack your blocks, setting a background for each.
Add shortcodes and content. Place shortcodes such as gallery, portfolio or buttons inside blocks.
Set it as the home page and test. Choose the landing page as your home page and check the sticky menu and scrolling on a phone.

Why it happens: Both the plugin and the active theme output a header and footer.
How to fix it: Use the plugin's logo, menu and footer settings, and hide the theme's header and footer, or switch to a minimal theme.

A YouTube background doesn't play on phones

Why it happens: Mobile browsers often block autoplay for background videos.
How to fix it: Use an image background for phones, or accept a still image there.

“The link you followed has expired.” when uploading

Why it happens: The zip is larger than your server's PHP upload limit (upload_max_filesize / post_max_size).
How to fix it: Raise the upload limit in your hosting control panel, or unzip the file and upload the folder to wp-content/plugins with your host's file manager or SFTP.

“The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.”

Why it happens: The uploaded zip is a bundle (or a theme), not the plugin itself.
How to fix it: Unzip the download once and upload the inner zip named after the plugin.

“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”

Why it happens: Usually a PHP version older than the plugin needs, or a second copy of the same plugin (for example the free version) still active.
How to fix it: Check your PHP version under Tools → Site Health → Info, deactivate any other copy of the plugin, and enable WP_DEBUG_LOG to see the exact error.

Licence or “updates unavailable” notices
