About Dokan – WooCommerce Booking Integration 1.4.5

Dokan WooCommerce Booking Integration is a Dokan add-on that connects the Dokan multivendor marketplace to WooCommerce Bookings. It lets vendors on your marketplace offer bookable services such as appointments or rentals, instead of only fixed products.

This is an add-on, not a standalone plugin. It needs Dokan and WooCommerce, and the booking side comes from WooCommerce Bookings; the listing itself gives no feature detail, so check the documentation in the package. The file on record is version 1.4.5, released in February 2019. Test it with your current Dokan and WooCommerce versions on a staging site.

Requirements

  • Dokan
  • WooCommerce
  • WooCommerce Bookings

Key features

Dokan add-on
Extends a Dokan marketplace rather than running on its own.
Bookable vendor products
Lets vendors list bookable products through their Dokan dashboard.
WooCommerce Bookings link
Builds on WooCommerce's booking functionality.
Marketplace setting
Aimed at multi-vendor sites such as service or rental marketplaces.

Is it right for you?

A good fit for

  • Dokan marketplaces where vendors sell appointments or rentals
  • Service marketplaces that already use WooCommerce Bookings

Look elsewhere if

  • Single-vendor shops
  • Sites without Dokan or without a booking plugin

How to install Dokan – WooCommerce Booking Integration 1.4.5

  1. 1

    Download the file

Open My Account → Downloads and download the product. If the archive contains several zips (documentation, child theme, licensing files), you need the one named after the product.

  2. 2

    Upload it to WordPress

In your dashboard go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin and choose the zip.

  3. 3

    Install and activate

Click Install Now, then Activate. If an older or free copy is already installed, WordPress offers to replace it with the uploaded version.

Notes for this product

  • Install and activate Dokan, WooCommerce and WooCommerce Bookings before this add-on. The listing doesn't state which Dokan edition is needed, so check the documentation in the package.

Setup: using Dokan – WooCommerce Booking Integration 1.4.5

  1. Install the parent plugins. Activate WooCommerce, Dokan and WooCommerce Bookings first.
  2. Activate this add-on. Check for any new booking option in the Dokan settings.
  3. Allow bookable products for vendors. Review the vendor permissions in Dokan.
  4. Create a test booking. Log in as a vendor, add a bookable product, then book it as a customer.

Common problems and fixes

Vendors do not see the bookable product type
Why it happens
The parent plugins are not all active, or the vendor is not permitted to add this product type.
How to fix it
Confirm Dokan, WooCommerce and WooCommerce Bookings are active and check the vendor product settings in Dokan.
“The link you followed has expired.” when uploading
Why it happens
The zip is larger than your server's PHP upload limit (upload_max_filesize / post_max_size).
How to fix it
Raise the upload limit in your hosting control panel, or unzip the file and upload the folder to wp-content/plugins with your host's file manager or SFTP.
“The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.”
Why it happens
The uploaded zip is a bundle (or a theme), not the plugin itself.
How to fix it
Unzip the download once and upload the inner zip named after the plugin.
“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”
Why it happens
Usually a PHP version older than the plugin needs, or a second copy of the same plugin (for example the free version) still active.
How to fix it
Check your PHP version under Tools → Site Health → Info, deactivate any other copy of the plugin, and enable WP_DEBUG_LOG to see the exact error.
Licence or “updates unavailable” notices
Why it happens
The developer's licence key isn't included. Features that call the developer's servers (template libraries, cloud APIs, automatic updates) need it.
How to fix it
Everything that runs locally works without it. For a newer file, use Request an update from your account.
